My Approach
I coach every client as an individual, focusing on your ambitions, challenges and unique context. I use questioning, reflection, paraphrasing and listening to facilitate deeper situational understanding.
Utilising individual insight, experience, leadership frameworks (and psychological models if desired), I then support clients to apply this deeper knowledge to widen thinking, consider options and determine the actions that impact and translate into outcomes.
I believe success in every sphere of our lives is determined by the quality of our relationships. My coaching is experienced as conversational, emotionally astute, supportive, and stretching. This is underpinned by high investment in the ambitions and success of my clients, exceptional levels of trust, and good (occasionally bad) humour.

Background & Experience
I've served as CEO across the education, non-profit and private sectors; in organisations ranging from multi-site dispersed, diverse teams of 1,100, to professional partner structures. I understand the realities of c-suite leadership: highly rewarding, high‑stakes and, at times, necessarily solitary. This can make strategising, perspective‑taking and scenario testing more challenging. Here is where working with a coach can add real value.
I have led transformations, turnarounds, rapid expansion and complex stakeholder engagement. Neurodiversity
During my second CEO tenure, I was unexpectantly diagnosed with ADHD. This gave me deep understanding of contexts that can magnify the unique strengths of neurodiversity to increase leadership impact. I have also learnt how to leverage different spheres of life that enable neurodiversity to fly.

I work with clients virtually via your preferred platform (Zoom, MS Teams or Google Meet) and in person. Sessions are arranged to client time zones:

NZ mornings (NZT 07:30–11:30). In person sessions in Wellington and Queenstown
Dubai evenings (GST 18:00–22:00).
